July 4th in Herndon Last Updated :: 2005.07.04
Decided to try and get a few clean firework shots for the 4th. Last year I was shooting with my Sony camera and was very disappointed at the results. This year I had the D70 and I tried a few different settings to see what did/didn't work. I found I did best on manual around 1/40th shutter and f/8. My biggest issue was with trying to keep the shots in focus, as each blast of fireworks was in a different part of the sky =P
